Max Weiland and Magik Kart USA Shine at the IAME Grand National Championships

by | Sep 10, 2025

Mooresville, NC – Max Weiland delivered an impressive weekend of racing at the 2025 IAME Grand National Championships. The Magik Kart USA driver secured a pole position, heat win, and podium finish against the nation’s top drivers as he continues to demonstrate his pace, speed, and consistency.

Max opened the event by putting his Magik Kart USA machine on pole in KA Jr and qualified P3 in X30 Jr. He then lit up the crowd with a dramatic last-lap, last-corner victory in Heat 1 of KA Jr.

In X30 Jr, he backed up his qualifying pace with a solid third-place finish in the first heat.

Friday night’s KA Shootout under the lights produced more fireworks when Weiland made a late-race move for the lead. Despite being just barely edged out for the win, the P2 finish was another impressive statement for the driver from Cleveland, Ohio.

On Saturday, Max carried that momentum in the KA Jr Heat 2 races and earned a win with another standout performance. Weiland would follow that up in the Shootout by charging from P7 after Lap 1 to finish P2.

Podium Finish

On Championship Sunday, Max lined up P3 in the KA Jr Final and P2 in the X30 Jr Final. In KA Jr, he delivered a consistent and composed drive to finish second overall, earning a spot on the podium.

In X30 Jr, Max crossed the line ninth after receiving a three-position penalty, but his skill and talent stood out throughout the weekend.
